My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sage, a sweet and loving girl who arrived at Helping Paws in early summer 2024 with her brother. Sage thought she’d found her forever home when she was adopted in June, but when her new family had to move and couldn’t keep two dogs, she found herself back at Helping Paws. Despite the change, Sage’s spirit remains as wonderful as ever.

Sage is an affectionate, active girl who loves her stuffy toys and adores spending time with her human friends. She’s still working on her leash manners and could use a little help with potty training, but her eagerness to learn makes her a great candidate for a patient home. Sage gets along well with other dogs, though she can be a bit sassy when meeting new doggy friends—once she warms up, she’s ready to play!

Now adjusting to life back at the shelter, Sage is looking for a family who will offer her the second chance she deserves. If you’re interested in bringing home a loving, gentle companion, contact Helping Paws and meet Sage—a girl with a heart full of love who’s ready to find her true forever home.
