Meet Mugsy, a 1 year-old, 49 pound, happy-go-lucky mixed breed bundle of joy who's ready to bring endless smiles and laughter to your home! Mugsy is a playful, sweet, and cuddly guy; it is definitely a toss-up on who he enjoys snuggling with more, his dog siblings or his people, because he loves both pretty equally! Whoever will give him attention is perfectly fine with him!

Mugsy loves to play in the house or yard with his canine pals, go for walks, chew on bones, and most of all, he LOVES car rides! He's a big fan of toys and is always up for a game of fetch. Plus, he already knows sit, lay down, and shake commands, and is eager to learn more. This pup is a smart cookie who has come a long way in a short time in his foster home, and is proud to say he is house-trained, uses the doggy door, and does well in his crate. He gets along also with dogs of all sizes, cats, and kids! He does tend to jump on his people, but is working hard not to do this. With even more patience and training, he will become an amazing addition to any home.

Given his playful and sometimes jumpy nature, he would do best in a home with children over 8 years old. Mugsy is described as friendly, outgoing, confident, happy, playful, and loyal. He thrives on activity, both mental and physical, and will do well in most environments as long as he has plenty of both. Although not required if he goes on several walks a day, he would love a fenced yard to run around in, and a doggy friend to share adventures and cuddles with.

His minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
