My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pet needs emergency placement. Please click here to go to our emergency placement page for more information.

Andie is at risk due to behavior concerns. Andie in care has been highly stressed in kennel and has began to leash bite intensely and is difficult to refocus at times. Andie is also to reported to kennel fight when entering and exiting kennel rooms. Medically, Andie is underweight and has a possible mild elongated soft palate.

All adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when appropriate.

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

My ideal home:

Andie would be an excellent companion for an active individual or family willing to provide her with exercise and attention. Her sociable nature means she is suitable for a variety of living environments.

Good with other pets?

During her time at ACC, Andie does not seem to be bothered by other dogs and will likely do well living with another dog.
Andie came in as a stray, so we have no knowledge of their history with cats. ACC does not conduct dog-to-cat testing on-site.

Good with children?

Andie would do best in a home without young kids.

How is my health?

Andie was examined by ACC's Veterinary Team, and appears to be healthy!

How are my leash manners?

Andie pulls hard on the leash and would benefit from some basic leash manners and polite walking training.

What is my behavior assessment?

Andie's behavior assessment revealed a friendly and social nature. She pulls hard on leash but showed no negative reaction to people or dogs.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.

I am playful and cute!
