Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 22 May 2024 ------ Adopted 1 June 2024 -------- Returned to Rescue 27 July 2024 -------- Age at Intake: 2 years ----- Breed: Beagle ----- Size: 24 lbs ----- Status: pound pull/found astray ----- Compatible with: Dogs, children. Haven't cat tested ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted - returned to rescue obese ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Jackie. Named after my own childhood Beagle, Jackie is a wonderful dog. I can't believe her owners didn't claim her from the pound. She is so cute! Jackie is a friendly girl. In true Beagle fashion, her nose knows so a fenced yard required. This is a great little dog!
Precious Jackie was adopted but returned a few weeks later. She was returned due to absolutely no fault of her own. She is a doll! Her family was taking in 3 foster children with allergies so Jackie found herself homeless. She was also returned heavily overweight at over 32 lbs. We explained not to free feed because she is a foodie but she did have free access to food. We are going to prioritize her health before an adoptive placement. We want her to live a long and wonderful life! She is a wonderful dog.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is prioritized.
