**This bunny has had his first vaccine for RHDV*
Breed: Harlequin
Size: About 9-10 lbs
DOB: Approximately 1 year old as of 6/24
Reason in rescue: This group of bunnies was rescued after they were living in horrific cages in someone’s shed. Tiny cages with a foot of poo in them :(.
Personality: When Luther got here, this big boy was so thin and he had muscle wasting from not being able to move around. He’s been in a big xpen and is doing so well, gaining weight and loving being able to hop around and stretch and use his muscles! He’s a shy boy at first who is nervous about new hands but when he knows you’re not going to hurt him, he enjoys being petted and loved on. He loves his face rubbed! He is a big boy so he doesn’t necessarily enjoy being held but he tolerates it. He is very good with his litter box.
Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $70 which includes his neuter and microchip. Adoption fee will change to $100 when he gets his second vaccine on 6/25.
