My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Chicken Noodle, but I go by many names-Noodle, Noodle Doodle, Chicki Noods--the list goes on. I love cheek and chin scritches and snuggling up on my human's chest, right up by their face. I'll press my face into theirs to get kisses on my cheeks, too. If I'm looking for a comfy spot on my own, you can bet I'll find a blanket to crawl under! If a blanket isn't available, I'll improvise-my foster mom once found me in a cat bed with curtain edges drawn over me!

If you hadn't noticed already, I'm a very special kitty who requires a little different care than a typical cat. I have something called Manx syndrome, and I have 3 legs instead of the typical 4. My foster mom assures me that caring for me isn't too much extra work, it's just a bit different. She'd be happy to show you the ropes! Come meet me in my foster home to fall in love!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Chicken Noodle will need to be adopted with another BKB kitten.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
