Meet GINGERSNAP… DOB est 5/7/2021, male, neutered, medium-haired, vaccinated, microchipped…

This sweet boy recently joined our rescue after spending his first few years mostly outdoors and abandoned more than once. When one of our fosters was recently contacted about GINGERSNAP, he joined her home and it looks like he’s thoroughly enjoying the SAFE, indoor, pampered life!! He did need to be shaved due to being terribly matted, however his coat has already grown back into its glorious, soft, floofiness! GINGERSNAP is a total lovebug, very affectionate, and completely enjoys curling up on laps! He’s a big boy at 17 lbs currently, but will likely lose some of that with good wet food, and realizing he’s not eating his “last meal until who knows when”, as many strays know they need to. He does great with other nice cats, but he would also be fine as an only cat in your Family!   We do recommend a home with no small children for this kitty. If you’re interested in meeting this handsome sweetheart, please EMAIL info@ffhsv.org or call a number above!!

More about this rescue

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption here on Petfinder and also at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.

Our Mission...

(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
