I am currently fostering a Scottish Deerhound lurcher female. She's a sweet girl but a little timid. She is 2 years old and was pretty much always kept in a kennel outside. She is getting used to being an indoor dog and is good with my 2 other dogs but definitely expresses her boundaries strongly to one of the boys. She is a little handshy but really likes attention and affection. She wants contact and to be around her people but is just learning how to initiate that. She will need a patient and loving home. I have 3 cats and she is interested but doesn't really chase or nip. She would do best as a single dog.
