My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy's owner passed away and she was brought to the shelter. She lived with several other dogs, they had never been outside. Poppy is doing well with potty pads and working on going outdoors. Poppy needs another dog her size in her new home that she can follow around and learn more about life from. She loves to play with other toys and is food motivated. She will need an experienced dog owner as she has had no socialization and is very timid with people. She has made progress in her foster home and
will follow them around, but not sure about being touched yet. The one place she does feel comfortable is in the fosters bed where she sleeps. She will allow snuggles there. Poppy needs a securely fenced in yard. She is not crate trained or leash trained, but the foster is working on it. The foster home sees so much potential in this sweet little girl. She just needs someone that has patience and the time to help her evolve into a more confident dog.
