Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Fred is the stereotypical DC cat: a total advocate. Whether that's for some attention from you, a little space when trying to eat, or showing his toys how tough he is, he'll provide background noise for your day. Fred loves to be held and a good cuddle or two, purring during all his back scratches or while being held. He adjusted quickly to his new space and loves having space to run around and play with toy mice, feathers, and his littermates. He tolerates water (baths/cleaning) and loud noises (vacuum) well, especially if there's some treats for his good behavior. He loves other people and didn't seem spooked during a short dog visit. If you want a sweet kitty that's not afraid to let you know when he wants some scratches, Fred is your guy!

Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any cat is housebroken. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. Our adoption fees are not inclusive of all vetting / medical care, food, supplies and/or training costs. Since we rely on donations to compensate for those deficits we are unable to reduce or refund this fee.

More about this rescue
Laila's Legacy missions is to ensure every homeless dog - including those with behavioral or physical challenges - that comes through our doors has a chance at a better life while educating the public on breed bias, individualistic training, and the importance of spay-neuter to lower the impact of returned and abandoned animals in shelters.
