Hello, I'm Yeti. I've had a magical journey to this rescue. Once, I was living in a world of giants, where I was the smallest creature. One day, a magical portal opened, and I bravely stepped through, finding myself here. I've made friends, like Gil and Marlon, and we have the best of times. I'm a mellow soul, always ready for a cuddle. I love to be held and to share in your quiet moments. My heart is full of love, and I'm eager to share it. I promise to be your faithful companion, to listen to your stories, and to be there for you always. Adopt me, and let's start our magical journey together.
Personality: Curious, Friendly toward humans, Friendly toward other animals, Funny, Inquisitive, Readily allows you to pick it up, Sweet.
Favorite treats: Fresh vegetables
Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food
Favorite toys and activities: Yeti loves laying on top of his brothers. When he's not bothering his brothers, he will always find the weirdest sleeping position possible.
Potty trained: Litter box trained
This animal’s daily routine: In the morning, Nothing structured. Outside of cage playtime is usually in the evening since he sleeps during the day.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Gil, Marlon, & Yeti are a bonded trio and must be adopted together.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction:
dog-indifferent
Cat - indifferent
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? None
Health concerns: Yeti does squint due to having red eyes. He also has some small markings on his tail that we are monitoring that we believe are due to a previous health concern. Yeti has a permanent head tilt from a prior ear infection. It doesn't bother him, but just means he perpetually looks like an adorable silly guy.
Behavioral concerns: None
Gil, Yeti, & Marlon were surrendered to MNPPR when their previous owner could no longer afford to care for the number of animals in their care.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Roseville PetSmart - 2480 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Fee: Gil, Yeti, & Marlon have a combined adoption fee of $45
We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.
Yeti's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored. If you would like to donate to provide veterinary care, food, bedding, and enrichment for Yeti or other pocket pets in the care of MNPPR, please visit https://www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/sponsor-a-pocket-pet for more information.
