Say hello to Lightning, a gentle and docile little kitten who is ready to find her forever home. Lightning is an absolute sweetheart who will melt your heart with her quiet charm and endearing personality.

This lovely kitten is the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a pet that is low-maintenance yet full of love. Lightning loves to entertain herself, often finding joy in the simplest of things, like a feather toy or a sunny spot by the window. She’s not demanding at all and is perfectly content keeping herself occupied.

One of Lightning’s favorite activities is jumping! She’s quite the little acrobat and enjoys showing off her impressive leaps and bounds. Despite her playful side, she’s also very calm and enjoys her quiet time. You’ll rarely hear her meow, as she’s a very quiet kitty, barely making a sound once a day, if at all.

While Lightning keeps to herself, she’s not against being held and could very well become a wonderful lap cat. She enjoys gentle cuddles and will happily snuggle up with you for a cozy nap.

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
