My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty is a beautiful cat. Her black and white markings are stunning and unique. She loves spending time on her foster home's window sills with fresh air coming through the screens. Betty is playful, sweet, and always wants to be near her people. She eats and drinks well, and is very good about using her litter box. Betty likes to use her scratching posts, but never scratches furniture -- a huge plus!

Betty will make a fabulous addition to any home, but she should be the only cat.

Betty was born around October 24, 2022. She is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*

All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.

We are a foster-based rescue. All our cats reside in private homes. A meet-and-greet can be arranged for approved adopters only.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our volunteers.

**Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.

The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment. Some of our older cats are offered at a reduced fee in order to encourage placement in a permanent home.

Foster and Forever Pet Rescue Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue that was founded in 2011. We have been working since then to improve the lives of abandoned, abused and homeless animals by serving as an umbrella under which foster homes will provide care for homeless animals until loving permanent homes can be found.

We provide spay/neuter services and all necessary medical care, as well as food and supplies, and find foster homes to care for the animals we rescue until we are able to find them forever homes.
