This rare rescue offering is called Champ and he is a 1 year old, 42 pound Wirehair Pointer Griffon from what we have researched in his looks. He showed up on a rural country farm in Tennessee and he was not neutered nor microchipped. This friendly, loveable goofball is a joy to have around. He has energy to burn of course and he adores playing with his tennis ball and running in the fenced yard. He loves all dogs of all sizes and we feel he would be friends with cats too since he showed no interest in the one cat that he has met. Someone is missing a great dog but they never responded to the posts on FB or in the local community lost and found pages. His favorite things to do is to cuddle with his humans, play fetch with his ball and to run zoomies in the fenced yard. He will go in a crate for a short but not extended amount of time. He knows some commands but is not leash trained as the people found him are more senior and allow him to just run in the fenced yard. He does have anxiety when left alone for too much time so we are looking for a family who has someone at home perhaps working remote or a stay at home parent who he can hang out with. He is ready for a new chapter in his life and will require a fenced yard and someone that is athletic and ready to match his youthful Griffon energy. If you are interested in adopting please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com
