Meet Patrick Henry, an extremely playful and energetic 11-month-old kitten. When he was young, Patrick developed a feline herpes viral infection, which in cats gives them red, runny eyes and occasional nasal discharge. This is in no way related to human herpes and is not transmissible to humans. Actually, 90-95% of the feline population tests positive for feline herpes virus, but more than 50% show no symptoms. In fact, none of Patrick’s littermates developed any symptoms, including his sister and companion, Abigail Adams, with whom he would like to be adopted.
At times of stress, Patrick may need to have his eyes treated with over-the-counter Artificial Tears; or if his nose gets stuffy, he might occasionally need to be put on a course of antibiotics, but even though Patrick was dealt this unlucky hand, he doesn’t let it affect him in the slightest. No matter what is going on, I can assure you Patrick will be first on the scene to assess the situation. He is a very curious, cute kitten who will steal your heart as soon as you meet him. Do you have the desire to take this special kitten and his lovely, energetic sister, Abby, in open arms?
Patrick has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
To express an interest in adopting him, you need to fill out our adoption application, including as much detail as possible, at https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/.
