Kobe is a stunning three-year-old King Labrador with a heart as big as his size. Weighing in at 90 pounds, this lovable boy came to us from an owner surrender, and he's now looking for his forever home.

Kobe is a high-energy dog who loves to sunbathe, swim, run, and play fetch—his tennis ball is his absolute favorite toy! At the end of the day, he enjoys cuddling up and sleeping in his bed or crate. He knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay" and is both potty trained and crate trained.

Kobe is great with other dogs and small children, making him an excellent addition to any family. He occasionally likes to retreat to his crate for some personal space, but he’s always ready for a cuddle session. While he might bark to get your attention, it’s just his way of communicating his needs, like when he wants to come inside or go out for a potty break.

Kobe is looking for an active family with a yard where he can play and get plenty of exercise. His ideal adopters would have previous dog experience and be have enough quality time to spend with him. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and cuddly companion, Kobe is ready to be your new best friend!

Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
