My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you searching for a sweet and gentle companion to share your life with? Meet Luna, a lovely ten-year-old Terrier mix who is ready to fill your home with love and warmth. Luna's calm and affectionate nature makes her the ideal addition to any family.

She is a beautiful Terrier mix with a soft, warm coat and expressive eyes that tell a story of love and devotion. Despite her age, she has a heart full of affection and a spirit that thrives on companionship. Luna has low to medium energy levels, making her perfect for families who enjoy a relaxed and loving atmosphere.

Why You'll Love Luna:

Wonderful with Children: Luna is fantastic with kids, even as young as three years old. She is patient, gentle, and loves to be part of the family. If you have young children, Luna will be their loyal and loving friend.

Excellent on Leash: Luna is great on the leash, making her an enjoyable walking companion. She loves to go on leisurely strolls around the neighborhood or park, taking in the sights and sounds with her favorite humans by her side.

Cuddly & Affectionate: One of Luna's favorite activities is cuddling up with her people. She enjoys lots of pets and will happily snuggle with you on the couch, bringing comfort and warmth to every moment.

Thrives on Companionship: Luna is happiest when she is with her people. She loves being part of the family activities and will be your constant, loving companion.

Luna would thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of cuddle time and be included in family activities. She is perfect for someone who appreciates the quieter joys of life, like cozy evenings at home and peaceful walks. Luna’s low to medium energy levels make her an excellent match for families who prefer a relaxed pace.

If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate, and gentle dog who will be a loving companion to both adults and children, Luna is the perfect match for you. Come meet Luna and let her fill your home with love and joy. Apply today to make Luna a cherished part of your family!

More about this rescue

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
