Gary is a gray classic tabby & white domestic medium hair. His birthday is around March 21, 2024. He’s an easygoing, friendly cat that loves to play and hang out with people. He’s been raised around dogs and he is very comfortable around them, and he enjoys having other friendly cats to play with. He is litter box trained and currently eats wet and dry food, along with any treats or table scraps he can find. He has shown interest in using a cat wheel and may enjoy having one in his new home, and he loves to climb and would love to have a few cat trees and shelves. He has been exposed to nail trimming, baths, brushing, and getting into the carrier to help set him up for easy grooming and vet visits as he gets older. He is likely going to have longer hair, so he’ll need regular brushing to help keep his coat tangle-free.
HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.â
