Lumi has the softest fur, which is good since whoever adopts her is going to be petting her - A LOT! When her foster mom sits down on the couch, Lumi appears next to her in seconds wanting to be petted. If you pull away too soon, she will put her little paw on your hand to try to pull you back.

Lumi also has a playful side, which comes out when she sees a toy she likes! She is currently living with a 10-week-old foster kitten that she likes to play with and a variety of adult cats and dogs that she is unfazed by. Because she is on the timid side, we suggest a household with animals that will respect her space and not be too intimidating.

Lumi's mom, Lana (who is also up for adoption!) was a stray cat rescued October 23, 2023. She had four kittens on October 26th. Lumi is the smallest of the four kittens and the only girl. It will take a little patience and love to earn her trust, but we think she will be a lovely and sweet companion.

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times.
