Meet Louise, a 10-month-old overgrown Shepherd mix puppy that was rescued from a rancher in Corpus Christi, TX along with her sister Thelma. She is settled in her foster home and with a few days to decompress and feel comfortable, this girl has really come out of her shell.

Louise enjoys the simple things in life and will just sit outside with you and embrace nature. She can also run zoomies, play fetch, chase and enjoys sitting around chewing on her nylabone. Her foster momma says she is great with the several other dogs in her home including foster puppies. She is learning her basic commands but that takes time and patience. She is treat motivated so that always helps when bribed with food.

She has a big bark so you're safe around her even though she wouldn't hurt a fly. Louise is fully vetted and searching for her forever family.

Submit Application

Submit your adoption application (Note: $15.00 non-refundable application fee)

2.
Home Check

Once approved the foster will contact you to set up a home visit/meet the dog to ensure its the best fit for your family.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the dog is the right fit then adoption can then take place. Adoption contract signed, adoption fee paid and given to foster.

Our adoption process is

1. Apply thru our website www.allieshaven.org
2. Our Adoptions team will review your application
3. Our Adoptions team will conduct a phone interview
4. When pre-approved the applicant will be matched to that dog of interest.
5. Foster home will contact applicant to bring the dog to the applicants home to meet and do a home visit.

If all goes well then the applicant adopts the dog.

Allies Haven Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit all volunteer that is dedicated to saving unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected dogs in Texas. We provide all necessary medical care to each dog as needed. They will live in private foster homes until adopted into a loving homes where they will become a member of the family. Allie's Haven promotes proper pet ownership, community educations programs as well as supporting spaying/neutering as a means to control unwanted pets.
