My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moe Moe is a 4 year old Pitt mix that was surrendered with another female dog when the family moved. She has historically been dog friendly but requires slow introductions to dogs or would be great as an only pet. Cats do make her nervous so no cats would probably be best. Due to her history she is still learning to trust other people and animals so she will need someone who understands that and will continue to work with her. She would do better with older respectful kids. She's had a committed person in her life that has worked hard with her on leash walking and she's gotten very good at that. Once she warms up to you she loves to give you a facial or roll over for belly rubs. Moe Moe is so sweet but she's been abandoned and lost in this world and is looking for someone to help her find hope again.

Moe Moe loves to go for car rides and loves her people so much!

Adoption fees range from $200 to $500 generally. All our animals are fully vetted and groomed prior to adoption.
The Pals contract states the pet is fully vetted and must be returned to us if the adoption does not work out. We contact their vet for a reference as well as other professionals they may have used in the past such as groomers etc.

When an application is approved, we work with the applicant to set up a meet and greet. The location depends on whether they are being cared for at Pals for Paws in Kokomo or if they are being fostered, they may be in the greater Indianapolis area..
