My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howie recently lost his owner. She doted on Howie and he was protective of her. He is very protective of his home and now his foster mom. He usually goes to his safe space when people come over so that he doesn’t feel the need to protect everyone! He is house trained and walks on a leash. He does do fine with other dogs and cats. While he would love to be an only, he would adjust to having furry companions, too.He has not been around children. Howie will have his vaccines updated prior to adoption. Located in Eastern Washington

Persons adopting from me through internet contact are required to show me photos of the area where the dog will spend most of its time, a vet's number and the number of a person who has known the potential adopter for at least 5 years. I do not require a fee, donations are appreciated. If a dog does not work out for the adopter, I can usually take it back right away, but if I have no room, I will work to find a new placement.
