Meet Everest, my sweet foster puppy who is looking for her forever home. When Everest first arrived, she was a little unsure about the ceiling fan, new people, and the stairs but after 5 minutes she was sold on being spoiled with treats. She found great comfort in the resident dog and greets and plays with him appropriately. She seems to want to play with the cats but listens to their signals of when they've had enough. As far as potty training, she is excelling for a puppy her age. She has only had an accident in the crate at just past the 5 hour mark and gives clear signals when she has to go out. She isn't fully accustomed to the crate as we just started her training but she willingly enters the crate and settles after a few minutes, only getting disturbed if she feels left out. Everest is extremely trainable and her intelligence is astounding. She knows sit, down, leave it (still a work in progress as a generalized command), and waits patiently for her food. She is doing well on a leash and collar and will start harness training shortly- she does good check-ins with her leash handler and is mastering the auto sit. She is a sweet puppy that will steal your family's heart - she would love a home with kids, cats, dogs, or just her person. She's a busy body with endless potential.
