My name is Chipper!

Chipper landed at the shelter in March 2024 with his girlfriend (or sister), Salsa. Salsa ended up being heartworm positive, so after treatment she left to recover in a foster home while Chipper finds himself still stuck at the shelter. Don’t be overwhelmed by his size, he maybe meaty, but he’s a gentle giant. He loves to play with the jolly balls in the play yard, but he loves more than anything to get huge and attention from his humans. He went on a #PPPW and was the best behaved on the walk. He walked right next to his hiking partner and was a total gentleman on leash. He was pretty exhausted after the hike, and if he could talk, he’d probably say he would have preferred a comfy couch and AC, but he definitely seemed to enjoy himself while out there!
