Ace is a happy young dog who wants nothing but to please his humans. We believe he is a Flat-Coated Retriever and Border Collie mix. The Vet’s best guess is that he is around 11 months old and currently weighs 66 lbs. Last winter he was dumped on the side of a road. Not being able to leave him there, we took him home with us. It was clear he had not been socialized at all - he was very shy and timid. Four months later, he has gained 15 lbs. and is a very happy, sweet boy. He loves to run and play with people and other dogs. He is very gentle with people and loves being petted. He is very smart and learns everything quickly. He now will walk on a leash but needs to be encouraged. He is crate trained and house trained and knows a couple of commands.
