He is an energetic bundle of joy who thrives on activity, so he is looking for an active family with a yard to run in or a schedule that includes regular trips to the park. Junior has made lots of friends here at the shelter and is a joy to have in our doggy play groups! He is very entertaining to watch playing with other dogs as they chase each other, roll around together, and play with toys. However Junior’s youthful exuberance means he might be a bit too boisterous for small children, as he can be mouthy and might inadvertently knock them over in his excitement.

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
