Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey is a charming 8-year-old French Bulldog with a spirited personality and an unyielding love for playing. His back legs might need some extra care, but they don’t slow him down one bit. Despite his incontinent, managed with a diaper, Petey walks and enjoys life to the fullest. He does go to the bathroom on his own and when he is outside he just leaves a trail. He knows he has to go to the bathroom, searches for a spot and starts crouching but then continues walking as he can’t always control it coming out. He thrives in water therapy sessions, where he floats and relaxes in the pool—activities he has grown to love. Petey is highly treat-driven and has a hearty appetite, making training and bonding with him easy and fun. We call him the dog dumpster because he literally never stops eating and has put on some extra weight which he definitely needed. His favorite toy is a ball and a plushy toy, he loves to fetch and return it to show how proud he is of his skill. Petey just wants acknowledgement. Excellent with foster siblings, loves playing with other dogs and showing off his amazing skills. Petey is looking for a forever home where he can continue his water therapy and be showered with love and attention. His new family should appreciate his playful nature and be prepared to manage his potty incidents with patience and care. Please don’t let this deter you from his amazingness and the love he has for just living his life as a family member and not trying to survive on the streets of LA. He just wants family that is going to let him freely live out his golden years filled with playful laziness. If you’re ready to welcome a loving, playful senior into your home, Petey is the perfect companion for you. Apply for Petey on our site. Vaccinated, microchipped, neutered. Apply on site fee $850.00
