Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Available for Adoption AFTER 6/8/2024
Adelina
Breed: German Shepherd
Gender: Female
Estimated Birthday: 12/4/2023
Current Weight: 24 Pounds
Expected Adult Weight: 40-70 Pounds
House & Crate Trained: Work in Progress
Adoption Fee: $465
Aren’t my big ears cute? I’ll grow into them. I’m Adelina, a smart, energetic and friendly young German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois (either way I’m adorable!). Right now I weigh 24 pounds and I’ll grow up to be 40-70 pounds.
Since I’m a puppy, I’m excelling at all the classic behaviors like chasing & chewing on toys, and playing (using my mouth - I’m learning manners). I’m a quick learner. Will you train me more? I’ve got a lot of energy now and with my breed, that’ll continue, so I’d be happiest in an active home. Once I’m all grown, I’ll need a 6-foot tall fence. Mentally challenging toys like food puzzles are enjoyable.
I love people and do well with other dogs and cats. When meeting new furry friends, I might bark at first, until I know everything is fine. It’s fun to wrestle with my brother Auberon. The housecat is pretty interesting - for a bit - it’s not as fun as my brother. I’m almost house trained. I like my crate and will sleep through the night. In the morning, if you’re not up yet, I’ll tell you I need to be let out. I’m smart like that.
Adelina is a typical puppy, she eats a bunch, poops a lot, plays hard and sleeps even harder. She's working on her house-training skills but you can expect to have to train! She's a quick learner. Puppies require training, so Adelina is no different. We highly encourage enrolling in a training program to teach your new addition good manners and to help her be well socialized. Please remember puppies demand a lot of your time and pets are a commitment for life.
