Buddy is a magnificent 2-year old male Seal Point Siamese kitty who was surrendered by his family on May 30, 2024 because they currently had too many other animals.
Buddy has a beautiful chocolate brown/cream short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable dark chocolate face with dark blue eyes, a black button nose, and long black whiskers.
His family told us that Buddy has been an exclusive indoor-only kitty, so that would be a requirement for his new home as well. Buddy had shared his home with other cats and dogs, but he would prefer to find a home where he would be 'the only child'.
Buddy had some negative experiences with small children who didn't play nice with him since they traumatized Buddy by pulling his tail and chasing him.
Like most cats, Buddy is frightened of loud noises and will hide when he is scared.
Buddy's favorite activity is being petted once he gets to know you and is comfortable with you.
Buddy is litterbox trained with occasional accidents. Since he's had a history of a few urinary tract infections/fragmented crystals, Buddy is on a special diet to prevent future occurrences .. Hills Science C/D dry- and canned food.
Buddy has already been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies vaccine). He is a big boy who weighs approximately 12 lbs.
Buddy is ready to find a home with someone special either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
