Meet our very friendly girl named Pancake! She originally came to our shelter after she was found roaming in town. She believe she is about 3 years old. We don't know what breed mix Pancake is, but she looks like an island dog dog called a Potcake. We think she is mixed with a Hound type dog. Pancake is a sweet lady, and she's looking for a loving home to call her own! This happy and affectionate dog will be an amazing companion for anyone who can give her the love and care she deserves. Pancake is a friendly dog who loves to cuddle up on the couch, get belly rubs, and gently carry around soft toys. If you're looking for a new best friend who will give you endless love, then Pancake is the girl for you! Pancake is good with other dogs and she is very playful with them. She is too interested in cats to live with them. Pancake can go to a home with children 12 years old and older.

You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
