We got Maya from a former co-worker who wanted to find a better home for her. Where she was before, she was dominated by the other dogs and they would get into fights with her, biting the back of her neck and at one point it was so bad that her front right dewclaw was ripped off. She needed somewhere safe and I am so grateful we were able to give her that the last few months. We have since moved into an apartment which is not conducive for her needs. She needs to be able to roam outside, she will never run away as she gets attached to her owners pretty quickly. She is so loving and has so much love to give. She is good with kids but it would be better if the kiddos were older. She needs people who will give her more time and help than we are currently able to give.
