Lady Whistledown is my name. I was found at worksite in Saint Augustine. I was very very pregnant. Some good people brought me to the rescue where I was given a wonderful foster home to have my babies. My babies are all weaned and I am ready to start looking for my new home. I am still learning to tolerate other animals since I had to protect myself out in the world. I truly love my humans. As soon as you say "Lady" i come running for love and attention. Will you be my new home that will love me?

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adotpion have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip resgistration. The adoption fee is $145.00 for kittens to 3 years, $110.00 4 years to 8 year cats, $100.00 for seniors and $200.00+ for Siamese, Maine Coon cats or any other specialty breed.. We reduce price if two are adopted together.
We have an adoption contract and additional agreement contract that all cats/kittens are to be returned to our Org. if adopter no longer wants or can keep.
Our requirements are specifically no adopters under 20 or living at a college . Including rentals where pets are not allowed . If renting we contact property owner or management including Veterinary references and personal references.

Feline Canopy of Care, Inc. is an all volunteer, foster based, non-profit organization (5013c) dedicated to ending the suffering of abandoned cats and kittens.
