Take the Pet Home
Hi there, my name is Taehu! I may have had a rough start in life, but I am ready to find my forever home and show the world what a great dog I can be. First here is a little more about me:
Breed: Labrador/Pointer mix
Age: 8 months
Gender: Male
Weight: 42 lb
Highlight(s): Good with other dogs, no signs of aggression
I was born in a shelter and learned important social skills from my mom before we were separated. I am still growing and have a lot to learn, but I am eager to explore the world around me.
I am good with other dogs and enjoy playing and socializing with them. I haven't met a cat yet, so I'm not sure how I would react, but I am willing to give it a try. I am a bit nervous on walks, but I am getting more confident every day. I have not shown any aggression and am always eager to meet new people and make new friends. I have No resource guarding issues towards humans, but I can growl when I'm eating and other dogs are approaching.
I may grow bigger than my mom, who weighs 21kg, but I am just a big bundle of love looking for a family to call my own. I may still need some training in housetraining, but I am ready to put in the effort and learn quickly.
If you are looking for a loyal and loving companion, I am your guy. I promise to bring joy and happiness to your home and be the best dog I can be. Will you be the one to give me a second chance at a happy life? I can't wait to meet you and start our new adventure together. Adopt me, and let's make memories that will last a lifetime.
I get along with:
Dogs: yes
Cats: unknown, however as per short encounter he is most likely ok in a house with a cat
Kids: unknown
Health notes: I will be neutered mid June, vaccinated and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.
Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.

As adopters of overseas dogs will be taking their dog home from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.
