My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're looking for an affectionate, curious, friendly, playful, and smart puppy, look no further than Lyka! She's a friendly, fun-loving girl who is full of energy and curiosity. She loves nothing more than to run around and explore but also enjoys a nice cuddle. Lyka was found by a local truck driver when she was just a wee one and has been fostered by a wonderful AARF volunteer since she was a bottle feeder. She is approximately 3 months old and ready to find her forever home. She is crate trained with potty training in progress. Lyka is going to be a big girl. With instruction, she will make a fantastic pet companion.

Come meet our adoptable dogs on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm in the backyard at AARF's new location- 302 Thurston St, W-S. Go to AARFWS.org to view and apply for our AARF dogs. Information about the process is available on our website. Remember that we do not adopt more than a 45-minute radius from our facility in Winston Salem.
