My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tigerlily has been with Smittens Rescue for over a year, and has overcome many health obstacles. She is a 2 yr old, spayed female, domestic shorthair that is kitten-sized! Weighing in at just under 6 lbs, Tigerlily is more like a Tiger baby. She started out extremely shy but has become very social and loves attention. Her favorite way of showing affection is by head-butting her foster mom’s hand or leg. She loves to cuddle and gets along well with other cats.

Tigerlily tends to have GI issues, which necessitates her being on a prescription diet (she`s done well on GI Biome in the past, and is currently doing great on i/d).
If you’ve always wanted a tiny cat with lots of love to give, Tigerlily might be the cat for you.

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
