Name: Dave Age: Approximately 3 – 5 yrs old Good with dogs: yes, if introduced properly (psst. I prefer the girls) Good with cats: haven’t met the cats but I love everyone Good with kids: there are no kids in my foster home but as above, I love everyone Size: Large
Hi there, I`m Dave! I`m a friendly guy, always ready with a wagging tail and a playful spirit. I love a good laugh and my antics are sure to keep you entertained. I`m also a bit of a softie, always up for a snuggle on the couch. I`m a firm believer in spreading love and positivity, and I`m looking for a family who could use a little more of both. I love, love, love my people and want to be with you all the time. My foster mom says I must have had a rough go before I found myself in BARS care. She thinks if I could talk what I story I would have to tell. I`ve got this old injury and sometimes have a limp, but hey, it doesn`t slow me down one bit! In fact, it`s part of my charm. I love walkies, car rides and sometimes enjoy yelling at the neighbourhood dogs for funzies. If you want a companion to spend lots of time with, I’m your guy. Fill out an application and let’s meet

All adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 72 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application.
Canine Adoption Fees:
$450 for puppies under 1 year of age
$375 for dogs over 1 year & under 7 years
$300 for dogs 7 years and older
Feline Adoption Fees:
$250 for kittens and cats up to 12 months old
$200 for cats between 1-6 years old
$150 for cats 6 years old and older
Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.
