My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing you to our Seinfeld Litter! We have Elaine, Jerry, George and Kramer who are 8 weeks old! These babies came to us as apart of our Last Litter Program, they came into our care just a few days old. They are said to be chihuahua x cockapoo mix. Though this was information shared to us we do know that both mom and dad are less than 20 lbs so if you are looking for a little baby, one of these may be for you! We do require a matching call prior to being approved and or matched to ensure that we set up both adopter and dog in our care up for a successful match so we ask that you be open minded when applying. They will be spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped before going to their forever homes. Please note that as these are puppies they will required patient, mental stimulation, socialization and continued training to set them up for success. If you are interested in being considered for one of them apply here directly. If you have any questions before applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org If you are viewing from adopt-a-pet to be considered a potential home for this dog please head to our website www.chicagorescueauthority.org and click on our adopt tab to apply directly!

Additional adoption info

Every dog is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a forever-home match. We are careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right dog with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet’s permanent home. These steps ensure that we have all the information needed to make the best placement for you or your family.

More about this rescue

At Chicago Rescue Authority, our mission is to create a compassionate world where every animal is treated with love, respect, and dignity. We are dedicated to educating the public about the adverse realities of the mass-production industry for puppies, raising awareness about responsible pet adoption and ownership, and actively working towards reducing the overpopulation of dogs in shelters.

Our promise to Chicago is to build our rescue on the tenets of teamwork, education and compassion. We will listen to the concerns and ideas of those around us and be ready to grow alongside this rescue and this mission.

Volunteers, fosters, donors and adopters will be the backbone of this organization, just like every other animal welfare non-profit. We will be hosting a variety of fundraisers and mixers throughout the year aimed at building our support network. We can’t wait to meet all the animals whose lives we are going to change!
