Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RJ is a very handsome orange tabby. He is extremely friendly to everyone he meets and will happily come right up to strangers to greet them!
RJ has been through a lot of change recently, as his former family was evicted and abandoned him and the rest of his cat family outside when they moved away. Thankfully they were all rescued, and RJ is very ready for a new life - a happily ever after with a family who will love and keep him for all of his days. He is truly deserving of that and will repay you with constant devotion and head butts!
RJ lived with dogs and cats in his previous home and also lives with both in his current foster home, so he should be able to coexist peacefully with fur siblings with careful introductions. He would also be happy having all of the attention for himself, if that's what his family prefers--he would be good as either a solo pet or sharing a multi-pet home. No small children please, as he can play roughly and is still learning how to be on his best manners. He would benefit from a cat-savvy family who can read his nonverbal cues and help him be the best guy he can be. He is incredibly sweet and loves to be with his people as often as possible.
Are you the right home for him?
You will be if:
- Head butts make you smile
- You like a running cat commentary on your day
- A cat playing wildly brightens your evening
RJ will provide you with all these things and more! He is interested in everything you do and friendly with other cats and dogs. He is looking for someone who can provide him a stable, loving, forever home.
RJ is about four years old and is healthy and fully vetted, including neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative.
