My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Playful and sweet Amara is a beautiful, hazel-eyed approximately 11 month old girl with stunning black markings and a streak of goofiness in her personality to match!

Always up for an adventure, each day with Amara brings something new - whether she’s chirping at birds through the window, playing sneak attack from underneath a blanket, or sticking her nose in packages, this girl never fails to keep herself entertained. Her affectionate side is equally endearing. She’ll do hourly check-ins when you’re at home by gently placing her head in your palm to ask for pets and purr loudly whenever she makes eye contact with you. Her confidence and social nature make any guest you bring over feel at home.

Amara is healthy and has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas and worms. She is litter box trained and uses her scratch posts well. She would thrive in a home where she will receive daily affection and play time.

Amara’s top love languages: 1. Physical touch (belly rubs and chin scratches are her favorite!) 2. Acts of service (she’ll be your best pal after a treat or two!) 3. Quality time (sleeping in on the weekends and bonding over play time are her top activities!)

Amara is currently living in Palo Alto, CA 94301

Additional adoption info

Please follow the "More information & application" link at the bottom of a cat's story, which will take you to our website where you'll see an "Adopt" link to the online application. The foster home will contact you directly to see if there is a match between you and the cat and arrange for you to meet. Only applications from the San Francisco Bay Area can be considered.

Our recommendation is that the foster home charge an adoption fee and execute an adoption contract.
