My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Muna is a friendly, laid-back, and sweet two-year old cat. She likes to be petted and brushed. When she is really enjoying being petted, she will take her foster parent’s hand in her paw and move it towards her face to get even more pets. She also gives the occasional kiss. She is often content to sit with her foster parent and nap. She likes to show her trusting nature by resting belly up. Muna also enjoys playing with toys and is always up for a game with her foster parent. Occasionally she will also play with some toys on her own. She has excellent litter box manners.

Muna came into care after swallowing an inedible object and required emergency surgery. Her foster parent is currently monitoring her to see if she has a penchant for chewing or swallowing other objects. The fur on her belly is growing back after she had surgery, which you will see in some of her photos.

Muna is being fostered in a home in the Baltimore area (Catonsville) and would love to meet you!

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
