Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
LOCATION: TROY, MO
Requirement:
Secure Physical Fenced Yard
Leo is what we like to call a Summa Dog. He is a mix of 4 different breeds, according to his puppy mill breeder. His lists of breeds are unique and they make the cutest little package. You might have guessed by his ears there is Papillon in him and there is also a little Maltese, and a little Chihuahua and a little poodle!
Leo is a little guy and also a little shy. He will need some time to adjust in a new home. Once he feels safe and comfortable he loves to give kisses. He has gained confidence being in a foster home with other confident dogs and he would benefit from a confident dog in his new home.
Leo enjoys running around, playing with his buddies and dog toys and soft blankets. These things are all new to him. He has many years to enjoy the finer things in life with his new family!
Leo is small and scares easily so a physical secure fenced yard is required.
Leo's adoption fee is $500. He is current on age appropriate vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
