Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Are you a homebody? Not overly enthusiastic about social events? Careful about who gets close to you? Patient enough for a good Netflix binge on the couch? Ellis just might be your soulmate. Place your order and we'll drop her off in a DoorDash bag.
Just kidding, that's not how this works!
Ellis is small to medium, about 30 pounds, and has a very interesting breed mix in her DNA. She'll be about 1 year old by the end of November. She's a striking blonde, very low maintenance grooming-wise. She is house-trained and has a low chew drive. She is crate "tolerant", she will settle in when she needs to be safely enclosed. She would love nothing more than to sleep the night away with her person or people in their bed. Ellis is a quick learner, and her forever family should be willing to continue to keep her busy with learning tricks, commands, and good citizenship training.
Ellis is slow to warm up to new people. When she appears at events, she is likely to be found on the edges of the excitement or checking things out on her own. She will require adopters who are patient and willing to meet more than once to appreciate her. We do recommend a home with adults only. She'd be perfect for empty nesters or even apartment life. Ellis has a perfect Five Star rating with two temporary fosters in addition to her regular foster family. She has a great track record with other dogs in the home. She'd do great with a patient dog sibling or 2. She has not had any cat time, but would probably be quick to learn to mind her manners.
