Meet and Adopt Sailor

Sailor is a 3 yo Bichon Frise or Poodle (or a mix of both) looking for a home in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas ( TX ). He is an easygoing, happy dog that does well with other dogs. He is confident when meeting new people and immediately sees a friend in everyone. We do not know if he is good with cats or small children because we have not had the opportunity to introduce him to either. However, with a proper introduction, we do not expect him to be a danger to either especially if the children or cats are gentle and of equal good temperament as Sailor. He rides in the car very well and seems to enjoy it.

Sailor will need basic training and house/potty training, but he appears smart and quickly catches on to things he is introduced to such as sit/stay. He tunes into the person he is with and looks for opportunities to learn and interact.

Sailor will also require regular grooming which is about $75 a visit.

Sailor is fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, current on shots and preventions. He is heartworm negative.

Rescue story: Sailor was dumped and our rescue took him in, cleaned him up, and made a new man of him. He had never seen a groomer in his life at the time we found him at 3 years old.
