Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Two-year old Sir Douglas Silverton was one day away from euthanasia in Texas, but luckily we had space, so he was able to make his way to Colorado to find a forever home. Once you meet him, you will find it shocking that death was nearly his fate! He is extremely friendly and social. He's a true hugger, running up to you as soon as he sees you and going in for a long (actual) hug. Then he'll hop up onto your shoulders for more face rubs! He's never met a person he didn't like. He loves other cats and is okay coexisting with dogs. He'd do great in a home with kiddos too (as long as they don't mind him hanging out on their shoulders). He is truly one of the friendliest kittos we've ever met!
Douglas is FIV+, which is NOT considered special needs. As long as he is given the same care all cats need: kept indoors and has regular, annual vet checks, staying up-to-date on all vaccines, FIV+ cats have the same life expectancy as non-FIV cats. Cat-friendly FIV+ cats can live with cat-friendly non-FIV cats just fine. To learn more, visit: To learn more, visit: https://www.denverkittens.org/post/fiv-what-is-it
