Doody is very small for his age and will likely not get any bigger.

Doody is shy and takes some time to warm up in new environments. He was born in a puppy mill and likely was not socialized or handled a lot.

Doody has gained some confidence in his foster home with the help of the other confident pups. He would probably benefit with a young confident dog in his new home, though it's not required.

Due to his very tiny size we are not recommending a home with small children under 6. In addition, he will need a secure physical fenced yard.

Doody's adoption is $500. He is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
