Apollo, a handsome, obedient and super friendly boy, We guess he is Labrador with Dalmation mixed. He was found wandering in the mountains, underweight and full of cuts and wounds. Our volunteers found him and took him to Vet hospital to get treatment, medical exam and Neutered, he is living in a foster home now. His foster parents love him so much, and take good care of him, Apollo gained weight. Now that he's healthy, and ready for adoption!

He weighs about 68lbs. He walks well on leash, is house trained and is good with dogs and cats. He's super friendly to everyone.

Apollo has a lively and gentle personality, and likes to be close to people. Whether adults or children, men or women are okay with him, he also likes to get along with other dogs. Peace and friendliness are his main characteristics. He likes to walk and likes to have more interactive relationships with people. We carefully arranged the foster home for him with full love and care, and hoped to help him find a best match family in the future.

Apollo is looking for a new home. According to our evaluation and observation, Apollo is suitable for an active family, enough space (the yard), and he needs freedom to live easily with family members.

Apollo is used to doing pee and poop outside in the yard. If he is in a new environment, we hope a new family can take him out for a bathroom, he will learn quickly how to work on the right place. We are waiting for a great family to give him a warm home, and give him lots of joy and love.

The meaning of adoption is not gaining a free and 100% perfect dog. Instead, the meaning is a poor and helpless stray animal gets a new life and sweet home because of you. Please open your heart and your sweet home. If you are interested in Apollo, or want to help him. Please contact us.

* We opened Apollo for adoption in U.S and Canada, You are welcome to fill out our online application *

We are looking for a family who understands the patience and responsibility required to raise a pet. It is important to us.

More about this rescue

Furry smiles International Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in USA, and BC registry non-profit association in Canada.

We do not have a physical shelter location. We rely on our network with many fosters in the different area, who provide our dogs with love and care during transition from rescue, medical, foster to adoption.

Our International rescue dogs will be flying to Canada, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York....or other city once the adoption is confirmed.

Furry Smile International Rescue ( FSIR) have been working hard to improve the welfare of dogs/cats since 2005 irrespective of their breed, medical condition or age.

All of our amazing volunteers donate their time because of their passion for helping dogs. We feel passionately that our role is not simply deal with the consequence of irresponsible ownership, but to also tackle the root causes and reduce the number of dogs needing to access the animal welfare system.

Our rescue ; we take care of them; we try to train them to be socialized; we find them a good home and we make sure dog/cat is living happily hereafter. We also believe in the therapeutic role that dogs can play in our local community. Our vision is a future where all pets are provided with a responsible and loving home for life.
