Pogeun had stayed at the Gimje shelter for a long time. He has a mild and friendly nature with other dogs. Tragically, a severe disc injury led to emergency surgery for hind limb paralysis. He bravely underwent surgery and completed physical rehabilitation.
* With People: Is initially shy but becomes incredibly affectionate if you give him enough time to greet. Loves people and enjoys being petted.
* With Dogs: Gets along well with all his canine friends. If other dogs disturb him while he’s resting, he may growl as a warning, but does not bite at all.
* With Cats: Is highly excited when encountering cats, so careful management is required.
* Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides communally at our center.
* Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty. Occasionally makes mistakes indoors, especially when becoming excited and having his hind legs tense up, regardless of his will.
* Hygiene: Handles all aspects of grooming well, including baths, brushing, nail trimming, teeth cleaning, and ear cleaning. Tolerates even hair dryer well enough to sleep through it without getting scared.
* Walks: Loves and does well walks but occasionally gets highly excited. Can walk or even run without support on his legs.
* Car Sickness: Generally rides well in a car, though he may drool slightly.

Interview
Once the application is reviewed, applicants will be invited to zoom interviews which last usually 15-20 minutes.

The adoption fee is payable in two separate installments.

Take the Pet Home
Adopters will be picking up the adopted pets from the designated airports.

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. All adopters must agree to surrender the pets BACK to ADOGS if the adopter no longer wants the pet. All adopters must agree to provide periodic update of the adopted pet.
