My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pogun🥰

* Towards People: Despite being shy, he becomes a cutie pie in about three minutes if you approach slowly and say hi to him first. Really enjoys being petted a lot!
* Toward Dogs: Generally gets along with other dogs. Snarl at dogs who bother or agitate him when he's sleeping but doesn’t bite.
* Separation Anxiety: It is unknown since he is staying at the Center in a group, although he doesn't seem to be experiencing any.
* Potty Training: It is unknown since he is staying at the Center in a group. It would be better to wear a diaper indoors since he tends to urinate unexpectedly when he gets excited or goes for a walk. Is doing good on his own when it comes to feces but his control over urination still needs improvement even though it is getting to improve with consistent rehabilitation.
* Hygiene: Very calmly accepts bathing, combing, toenail clipping, teeth brushing and ear cleaning. Even nods off while being blown dry
* Walking: Loves walking and has no problems walking and running without the assistance of his brace.
* Car Sickness: Enjoys car riding stably. No car sickness.

💌Special Note💌
* Accepts medical care nicely and uncomplainingly.
* Regularly receives rehabilitation therapy once a week, and his leg strength is improving!
* Has pee accidents occasionally, but has since recovered greatly.
❗Is looking for a forever home where he can receive the specialized care he needs to support his treatment.❗

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
