For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

My name is Freya and I don’t want to go another Day-a without a home to call my own. I believe that I might have the best ears that anyone has ever seen. Depending on the direction they are pointing you can totally tell how I’m feeling. For instance, when they are up and alert, I’m ready to play. I’m very energetic and have a blast playing with other dogs that match my energy. I also do well with cats and kids. When I walk my ears tend to bounce, and I can't wait to show them off to a family that is active and enjoys hiking or taking me for walks. I’m sure to help you make new friends on our walks; people can’t resist me! When I get tired, my ears need a rest and tend to relax.
Anyone looking for a potty-trained pup with some energy to burn should fill out an application to meet me. I’m telling you, once you see my ears in person you won’t be able to resist me.
All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
