My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chester, the charming 3-year-old heartthrob with a face that will melt your heart and a personality that will keep you smiling! Still in his prime, he will keep you on your toes with his silly antics like his curiosity with water (picture him balancing carefully on your bathtub side) and his love for occasionally watching the world upside down (see below photo).

This curious and sociable boy is the purrfect blend of confidence and affection. Chester loves making new friends and will trot right up to you and any new guests for some delightful pets. He is occasionally talkative and will softly meow to greet you when you arrive home or when he feels like gossiping about his day. He has a playful side to him and loves to bat at wand toys or his favorite catnip-stuffed banana in the evenings. Overall, he’s a very well-mannered gentleman that can be independent while you're not at home but also a love bug when you're around!

Chester is healthy and has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas and worms. He has been fostered with dogs and cats previously and would do fine in a home with either. He is litter box trained and uses his scratch posts diligently. Vet visits and nail trims? No problem — Chester handles them like a pro.

If you’re looking to adopt a pair, consider doubling the fun by adopting Chester with his best foster buddy Parker, an adorable 1.5-year-old tuxedo boy with an equally affectionate and fun personality. Together, they’re the dynamic duo you didn’t know you needed!

Chester is currently living in Milpitas, CA 95035

Additional adoption info

Please follow the "More information & application" link at the bottom of a cat's story, which will take you to our website where you'll see an "Adopt" link to the online application. The foster home will contact you directly to see if there is a match between you and the cat and arrange for you to meet. Only applications from the San Francisco Bay Area can be considered.

Our recommendation is that the foster home charge an adoption fee and execute an adoption contract.
